Milking schedule for a doe that lost her twins in birth

I was was gifted a nigeran dwarf milking goat hours after her twins died . This is her first kidding and I have never milked before that day. ( Other than when I was 4 and my goofy uncle showed me how to milk his horse) I started milking her every 4 hours on day 1,2,3 and day 4 I began a 6 hour stretch, she is a week postpartum and I am wondering how soon I can go to 2 times a day? Milking at 10:30 pm and 5:30 am is as long as I have gone. I don't know any one that can help me and I have to pick my daughter up at the airport 6 hours away in a few days .i. Trying to teach my husband how but the doe is nervous with him and even when they get the hang of it I feel middle of the night milking makes it more challenging for them both. He will also have to work so I am feeling pressed for time .I would hate to hurt her by stretching to long between too soon tho

Milking twice a day is fine. I take it you want the milk? Most people, even with stillborns, will just milk twice a day. I give you credit for milking multiple times per day and getting her milk going.

Thanks ! I am relieved to hear this ! I have a toddler who still nurses all night long so I am very exausted. Hahahaha I am glad to know she will be ok with longer spans between!
