Does anybody know if mimosa trees are poisonous to ND goats? It’s not in their pen, but leaves and flowers could blow in that direction. We also have dogs that might eat the pods. Can’t find any info on this tree

Well my Boers, spanish, kiko crosses, and myotonics love them. They have eaten the leavez for 3 years now, no problems.

Yep my goats love mimosa too! We don't have much of it, but they do like it. So no worries.

Fun fact, did you know that mimosa is touch responsive? If you touch the leaves they will slowly close up. This is called thigmonasty. Sorry I'm a knowledge collector. Pretty much anything will fascinate me.
