    Hello,
I would like to breed my 2 year old Alpine doe with a Nigerian Dwarf buck. I was just wondering if that would require artificial insemination or not. If so, would that mean a vet would have to do it?

I have never bred my goats before, so anything helps. Thanks.

If you have to breed them on a hill or a platform for the buck to reach, you can.
Or most of the time, if there is a will there is a way. Bucks and does can be creative. ;)

AI can be expensive, and reliability is on average about 65% , I would try natural breeding your doe.
