I have two lamancha does. Both just over 10 weeks old. They both got .5 ml CDT shots at 3 weeks old. I misunderstood the sellers instructions and missed giving them the followup shots. How should I go from here? Also, can I purchase the vaccine at a store like Tractor Supply? Thanks in advance. Phil
they need 2ccs of CD/T not .5cc so what i would do is go to TSC and buy a bottle and give them 2ccs now and then 2ccs in 3 weeks.
Yep, all goats regardless of age or size need to have a 2cc dose, boostered with a 2nd 2cc dose in 21 days. TSC carries it by either Bar-Vac or Goat-Vac CD/T
Just ask for CD/T they will know what it is, and tell them it's for goats. I was at TSC yesterday and bought a bottle - 10 doses for $5.49. Make sure you keep it cold.
