So misty delivered large twins yesterday evening. She looked cleaned out when I checked on her again around 10pm. Today she has some afterbirth hanging and it’s dry(looks like a long straw now) Other then running from me when I’m in the pen if I try to touch her she is doing well and so are her kids.i bumped her and didn’t feel any more kids and she doesn’t seem to be contracting.

When you say afterbirth, are you referring to part of the placenta or just goo?
Goo is normal, but If it’s the placenta, and if it hasn’t fully dropped within 12-24 hours you need to look into getting oxytocin from your vet. Anything hanging from the doe can be a pathway to infection. Is your doe at all selenium deficient? I’d keep a check on her temp and give calcium gummies and red raspberry leaves. If it doesn’t drop soon, I’d call the vet for the best course of action for her.
Congratulaions on your new additions! Pics please 😊
