Question - hoping for opinions! For the 3-time Ivermectin mites treatment - if I have done 2 injections SQ, can the 3rd treatment be pour-on? Would like to avoid a 3rd shot if possible, this stuff stings pretty badly. He's 1 yr 6 months (I posted about him on a previous thread about doubling up.)

He's looking a lot better now, all the scabs are gone and it looks like some hair is growing again on the bald belly spots. He's still super itchy tho, I've also done 3 lime-sulfur baths about a week apart, and still doing nu-stock on some obviously itchy spots. Just sprayed Ultrashield EX today on all the goats + barn floor (permethrin blend). Older boys are just getting a pour-on treatment, no shots.

I'd do one more shot if he is super itchy.

OK, thanks - that's what I was afraid of. We'll suck it up and do it!

Thx also. Boy this seems like a tough case. If this 3rd dose doesn't do it, may have to look at alternatives - Cydectin, Eprinex, even Frontline... all the livestock vets in my area have retired so no help there.
