What do yall do with moldy hay?

Because of all the rain we had a few bales get moldy.
We only pay 3 $a bale so its not a huge loss but it adds up.
I will not feed it to my animals!
I put some in the duck house.
What do yall do with moldy hay??

What kind of hay is it? I don't think anyone throws alfalfa on their garden, but....

And you buy hay for $3 a bale!? Wow, it's 7 times that much here. That must be so nice.

Its costal.
My horse is a little smarty pants and gets into everything so we dont have alfalfa. Because we dont wanna have to completely lock it up.

Yeahhh. My neighbors love me. Its pretty good good to since the field gets fertilized. We pay like 9$ if we get it from the feed store :)

Goatgirl, you might want to check with your neighbors and see if they want it to spread on fields next spring. That's what we do with it. Let it sit and get rained on, snowed on, get nice and yucky, then spread it on fields or plow it in on fields. If it's not really moldy, I also shake it out good then put it under the sheds for bedding.
