I have a doe who I suspect, due to a high egg count and bad anemia, has a barber pole infestation. She's new to me and so I think the stress of moving caused them to really bloom. I tried to treat it with herbals for a week but this morning she looked really bad (she's alone right now because everyone else is at the fair, and I'm sure the stress of that didn't help matters) so I went ahead and gave her Quest. Tonight I notice white mucous in her poo, I've not seen that after using Ivermectin or Safeguard (never used Quest before) so I'm just wondering if that's normal?

with her being heavy burdened the 3 times at 10 days apart then once more in 30 days is a good idea..
be sure to treat the anemia as well....red cell and Vit B 12 also high protein feed, alfalfa and green leaves will help her rebuild her red blood cells..
B complex is a great support vitamin during times of stress and Probiotics is always good to give ;)
