what are some must have supplies for goats. i am training them to pack and harness. here is what i thought of already:
    *hoof clippers
    *brush
*towel (they dont seem to mind sprinkling rain until theyre soaked)
    *halters
    *lead rope
    *saddles
    *pads
    *panniers

also, what is a good weight for a 14 wk old? a yearling (born last january)?

Do you mean what are good supplies to have in general or for packing?

Also, what are the breeds of the goats. Size has a lot to do with breed.

a 14 week buck kid should be at least 25 pounds.. I have munchie kids that reach 40 by 3 months. they should be nice and lanky.. a yearling saanen should be about 80-100.

remember not to pack a-lot of weight on them till they are at least two, i'd say no more than 20 pounds on the yearling, and nothing on the kid

yeah, moonbeam is still real little. they are both female, i forgot that bit. i need to figure a way to weigh them... hmmm...
moon beam walks with a towel on her back and so will milky way but she lets me know she doesnt like it. they dont like the halter being on their face either. looking forward to tomorrow! :D lots of training to do!

ps: please see my other question "is this a good way to train?"
