my fainting 8 month old billy i think something may be wrong with him he has been walkin around for 1 hr panting or is he just really hot? i have giving him water but don't seem to want it. he has been eating and using the bathroom ok.
I think you need to take temp rectally......has he been running or playing hard with other goats?.....my wethers will sometimes do that after hard play. I'm not much help, but hopefully someone here with more experience will post soon with good advice.
he is doing fine today i think it was where he wanted out of the pen i took it rec and it was 105.2 but back down to norm when sun went down. he is playing and havin good time in the mud today thanks just didn't want anything to happen to my baby
Is he able to get into the shade and out of the sun? Watch for dehydration... Make sure you get him to drink water or electrolytes ... Keep an eye on him.........He may develop pneumonia....if the days are hot... and the nights are cold.......Good luck...
temp of 105 is NOT good I would take it again and keep an eye on him. If mine ever go over 104 they are started on penicillin
