Meet Igor. He's my newest addition and my first bottle baby. He's an unregistered LaMancha and he was born April 4th. He will be getting disbudded and banded tomorrow.

    I have loads of questions:

    How often to feed him?
Which milk replacer is best? (Right now he is on Kid Milk Replacer, it comes in a light blue bag with yellow writing)
Can I put diapers on him? Which work best?
How do I discipline him? (for example when he chews on stuff or tries butting me)

And any other advice on bottle babies would be great.

I  HIM! My poor BF can't believe that we have a goat in the house. I hope I never find his last straw.

My Pgymys and mini Fainter babies use xsmall. But if he is anything like the little guys in the garage (out mini Lamachaces) Maybe a medium diaper. I use large on my Pgymy Pani that gose into nursen homes. Also doggie diapers work too. They can be house broken. Pani uses newspaper to pee and poo on. Just got to keep at them like a little puppy and do nto get upset over little accdents. Be forward the little guy is going to be really attacked to you. But I think you are going to enjoy it. Need any advice I am here for ya. I bottle feed my boss's babies every year now.

How cute. Is it just the way he is standing or is he a little on his right back toe?

    He's darling...

I don't have much advice on milk replacer or diapers, but a spray bottle with water works wonders when goats misbehave. Just tell him "no" or "leave it" then spray him in the face. It will not take him long to catch on.

I like Land -O-Lakes kid milk replacer - no junk in it.

I make a diaper by using a poise pad and some cloth to tie it around him

here is a picture of a lamb modeling such a "diaper"

the poop berries are easy to clean up so I never worried about that.
