I started a page (The Fancy Goat, if the link fails) to discuss and advertise for my "farrier" business. Pecan Grove Farms has given full permission to document and share his does, as most are/were perfect examples of problems associated with poor to no hoof care. Only about half the photos are posted, I've been waiting for some traffic to finish the rest.

I would for SURE not advertise that you cut too short and make them bleed :( That is NOT ok. I am a horse farrier, and its just never ok to have blood. SOrry, not trying to start anything, but you should never be trimming into live flesh, that is not a professional move.

Blood is not OK.
Should of mentioned giving a Tetanus booster, packing hoove with antibiotic, and using a blood stop. Some places are very muddy great place for bacteria to enter.
Great Idea Though to help people understand and good job on photos, but please mention somewhere on your site that your not a vet, and that it is only information.
