Any thoughts on my Herd Sire?
We just love him to pieces and have just bred him to our three does in hopes that we can get some of his mahogany red color in some babies! He is very strong and very muscular and such a hearty goat- his name is Rowdy Red, and he has the most wonderful coat texture! His dam was a solid red 75 Nubian/25% Boer accident that turned out to be gorgeous! His sire was a gorgeous Registered 100% Nigerian chamoisee with a rack to die for!

Pros:
Decent length
Good body capacity
Good spring of rib
Correct bite
Masculine
Level topline
Decent length rump
Chest floor looks to blend well into the girth
Girth blends well into fore ribs
Spring of rib blends well into rear barrel
Straight front legs
Neck looks to blend well into withers, would be easier to tell if he was shaved
Decent amount of brisket
Rear leg angulation doesn't look to bad

Cons:
Neck could blend better into the brisket
Steep rump
Pasterns look weak
Chine could be stronger, hard to tell
Could be more dairy

Okay, don't take what I say to heart, I'm an amateur... Lacie? How'd I do?

Thanks Emma! I did almost shave him just because of our Texas heat right now- but his coat is like a plush child's toy and I just love running my hand over it!
