hello, can anyone help. The vet has been out and said goats are fine apart from feet obviously. it has been wet and the bottoms of there feet are soft and full of holes. today I have picked a lot of splinters out of there feet. they don't seem to be bothered at all by there feet or me prodding about. the vet has said to scrub there feet with copper sulphate. can anyone just advise should I pull splinters out, have you used copper sulphate for this condition and is there any thing else I should be doing. any advice would be grate as it is braking my heart to see there feet in this condition. cheers rob

I used koppertox. Yes, when you clean pull splinters out. I would keep them in dry ground while treating them, until they harden again.
