I have 4 wether Alpines. One of them has a cough. He has had this cough for 2 months. I have been watching him carefully. He never has a temp- he eats, drinks, plays- acts completely normal except for coughing. So I took him into the vet. She wanted to be safe so we treated him with a shot of Nuflor every 3 days. (total of 5 shots)
But there is no change. He is still coughing. There is no particular time that he coughs... it is anytime. Standing, walking, after eating, drinking, getting loved on, playing- really just randomly no pattern.
Do I take him back to the vet? Do I just keep watching him? Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

I found the info on how to check for lung worms. I'll give that a shot. If not... what do I do for allergies? I think I remember someone saying something about Benadryl?

Benadryl wont hurt....5 cc for kids 15-20 for adults
I agree to check for lung worms : ) Also check his lower inner eye lids...if he is pale then worms could be an issue..
