I didn't plan on having kids this year but Pepper managed to get bred, through the fence is my best guess. Now I have two bucklings that I need to wether and sell (or maybe give away to a good home) as pets. They even look like they may have two different fathers. :great:
Good job Pepper (doh) My question is when to band them. I have been advised that banding too early before they can unsheath the penis is unhealthy and sets the stage for kidney and bladder stones.
Sorry I haven't been on here for months. I sort of lost interest when my little buddy Bucky died mysteriously in late January. Which, oddly enough, is 150 days from the birth of these kids. They may be my little angles but I can't deal with any more intact bucks. I already have three and they are blooming idiots.

If you can stand them and they aren't too randy (active), 3 months or older is better.
Sorry to hear about your little "Bucky". I understand losing a good goat buddy.
