Last year we got two pygmy goats (one doe and one wether). We are looking to get two new kids this spring. Our wether is smaller than the doe but he sometimes gets aggressive and headbutts her. She can protect herself but we are worried that the wether may hurt the kids. Are wethers good with kids? Do they need to be separated until the kids grow up?

Always provide multiple feed and water locations and hiding spots for the kids. It all depends on temperament, it's impossible to say if he will be too rough. Don't lock them in small spaces together. And if he is continuously stressing them they can get sick so you'll just have to judge.
