My goats and alpaca eat all sort of pine trees...including firs and ponderosa pine. Ponderosa may not be the choice if you have pregnant goats because it may cause miscarriage.

I agree...and yes..Ponderosa pine can cause misscarriage.. other than that pine is fine : ) (ha I rhymed :p)

Pine can help with worms and help balance PH in goats milk..great to give when you are havng off flavor milk..

One note: never give christmas trees to your goats, unless you cut it yourself and know its clean.......some are sprayed with chemicals to help preserve color and some are actually sprayed with color...!!..
If you do feed a clean christmas tree be sure there is no icecycle stringy things on the : )
