get the better of your distrust of goat shenanigans. As soon as the goat gets out where all the lovely green grass is................

she'll break her neck to get in the duck pen to eat the corn!

So a temporary pen is REALLY NOT more trouble than running after goats all afternoon.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Did you have one break its neck?

That sounds like the doe I just sold. She'd cry and throw herself at the gate of her pen for hours until I let her out in the yard...then she'd destroy something, or get into the garden, or we'd find her banging her hooves on the back door to come in the house!

LOL....I have one of those here! Let them out to enjoy the ABUNDANT browse and get full bellies and Teddy about breaks his neck running to my ornamental ( goat friendly) shrubs! The little creep destroyed 2 of the 6!

Goats are really pushy...when they really want something....they do some dumb things... and get themselves stuck....hurt...or even worse...I know how ya feel......as you said....you want to ring their necks ...for doing some of the little things they do....
