Ok, so I got a new doe kid the other day from a doe back agreement. I sold the does dam(Maxinne) bred to a buck named Fudge. Well Maxinne went onto day 160 and still had not kidded so the owner got the vet out and the vet ended up inducing her. The owner told me Maxinne had kidded so I went up to pick up my doe. Well.... come to find she is POLLED! Fudge is NOT polled so Maxinne was actually bred to the lady's buck and now we understand why she was late. I'm also glad that she is healthy because we really don't know what day Maxinne was on. We got very lucky and Maxinne is VERY sneaky!!!

So here are some pictures of my new doe kid. She still needs a name. :D

    What a doll. Congratulations.

So they really did not know when she was bred and they induced her? WOW the lord took care of the baby just fine it looks like.

I love the "spot of fudge " look on her bask.

Well the lady didn't think about that her buck could have gotten Maxinne. So she told the vet the dates that I gave her and the earliest day she would have been on by my dates was over day 160.

    What a pretty baby

A name to go with her "patch of cocoa" would fit, BUT something to suit her sweet face too.

Maybe you will need to make a trip up here once I have some cruiser kids on the ground. He is polled and moonspotted. And he is bred to my doe with wattles. :thumb: lol

How about Hot Fudge because of the spot on the back reminds me of the hot fudge topping on Icecream.

    Adorable
