Hello I just rescenly got a nigerian dwarf doeling she is three months old and beautiful! But she really confuses me... It's like she wants me in the stall near her but she doesn't want me there.... She screams when I'm not there but when I am she hides from me!? What's up with that???? anyway she needs a cute name also how can I tame her up? Thanks!

She's scared and she wants you near her for reassurance, but she is not ready to allow you to be her friend, yet. I would simply sit near her pen and talk to her whenever I had the time to do so. Keep a treat or two in your pocket and offer it when she comes near. She will adjust to you and your surroundings and let you know when she is ready to let you in.

Really? Penelope? To me, she looks like a Doodlebug. It looks like someone doodled all over her with different colors, spots, stripes, etc. :laugh: Sprite also comes to mind. Maybe Suzy Q. Fawn is another one, although that probably won't fit once she settles in and her real personality is revealed.

She is a super cutie. For some reason Mudslide comes to mind when I look at her. although that isnt' very girly. And I second GoatCrazy, she is scared your presence is reassuring but she doesn't quite trust you completely yet.
