I wonder if she has a form of staph? Maybe chlorhexidine would be a good choice for cleaning. You can get it at farm stores or in any pharmacy under the name hibiclens . Use diluted to clean gently (maybe just spritz it on) 2 x a day.

Thank you...I will look into that. You'd think the vet would have had a clearer diagnosis. I guess our long time vet retired and sold his business to a corporation. :(

I would also get her blood test for at least CAE. If she was in that state when you got her I'm guessing the last owner's herd is not tested. It's a good idea to test before kidding so if she does have you can keep the kids from getting.
