Ok on another forum some of you and I are a part of there is this section called

"Topic of the week"

I love this and I asked the forum admin if I could pirot his idea and he said yes (he knows about TGS - pm me if you want the link to the forum)

so coming soon there will be a topic of the week section to this forum.

Each week I or someone I ask (you can volunteer too :D ) will select a topic to discuss for that week.

Questions will be like "minerals - anything pertaining to it, research you have found, what works in what area" etc can be discussed As well as "what kind of hay do you use, why?" "CD/T - when do you give it if at all etc" "management of CL" "management of CAE" "treating goat Polio" "Pregnany toxemia, symptoms and treatments"

These discussions have turned out great on the other forum and they in turn are now good references for later on. I would love to see this happen here.

I hope you all like this idea because I am excited about it.

Oh that sounds great!! I have been considering maybe starting to give the CD/T shots this Spring, so I think that would be a REALLY good topic to have one week like you said (just a suggestion of course). Like people listing what all it prevents, how much they give, how often, and things like that. Also maybe a topic about Blue-Eye genetics like we were all talking about the other day. And like you said it would be great to have all the discussions to use as references!

I think that is a SUPER idea!! :thumb:

I also moved the "general info" section up above the "for sale" for better visibility
