New members of my herd

    Here's the new Boers I got on Saturday. The red doe is Ginger Snap (I suck at naming and she is the color of one), the buck is Loki, and the traditional colored baby is Josie. What color would you call the buck? Is that an acceptable Boer color? I'm not worried about showing, they aren't registered. The babies are for cabrito.

    I know there terrible, it's called asking a family member to take pics while your at work. :roll:

    They all look nice :) As far as the buck...he doesn't look like a full boer to me....

    All I know was that he was in a pen full of pure Boers and that he has the right head and ears. There was a buck with the reverse of his markings, black with brown lines.

    he could be a high percentage.. and the color is chamoise

    Nice looking goats! That buck is a very handsome color.

    never seen the color on the buck, sdk is right on about the color. chamoisee, usually seen in dairy goats.

    The buck could easily be a part Kiko -- thats an acceptable Kiko coloring
