HI Everyone,
Myself and my ND doe are new to milking. I just started milking her last night. My first attempt was unsuccessful, but I got a little teeny bit this morning and I tried it. It was quite yummy! Anyways, my questions is this: Her kids are about 3 weeks old and still nursing. Should I spray her teats after nursing with Fight Bac or will that hurt them? I want to keep her healthy and mastitis free but I don't want to harm them.
Also, she kept laying down on the milk stand. Is there anything I should do to prevent that?

Go ahead and spray the teats, I'm sure it won't harm the kids.

To keep her from laying down, try placing a bucket upside-down under her chest.

When you pet her do it all over, rub her belly, play with her teats, get her used to being touched.

Thank you, Sylvie. I was humanizing lol. I remember when I was nursing my children and they had told me to be conscious of soap because the children might refuse to nurse so I was afraid the same might apply to goat kids ;)
