i have beet pulp at the horse barn that i dont use. but it has been sitting there for like 2 years. would that still be safe to feed? do you soak it or just feed it as is?

Is the beet pulp covered so it is not all dusty?

I soak mine in warm water when it is cold out, they really eat it up. I have known a lot of people to feed it dry with out any trouble. Me, I would be scared it would swell up to much and cause problems, but like i said several do it dry and have no trouble at all.
