Hi! I'm new to this board and new to goats -- kinda. I have one goat (nubian, long ears) to keep my horse company. He's 3yo and very large -- mostly round. Not sure on how to get the weight off him. He hardly gets anything except all the hay he wants to eat. Just a 1/2 cup of oats once a day with salt added and minerals. Oh well, he's very friendly and does an excellent job of keeping the horse company. He's the horse's shadow most of the time except when it rains, hahaha. Right now, he's not feeling well. I posted in the vet forum and thought I would come over here to say hi and am glad to have found this forum!

    Welcome!

I'm new, too! I have a Nubian (rescued, thin, but putting on weight), and she keeps my Norwegian Fjord company!

Warm hello from Florida (though it's 29F outside already!!!)
