yes that is a red bourbon turkey. He is Mr Turkey and has lived with the goats all his life. He lost his mate and we have not found another for him. The goats are his herd and he does round them up. He even sleeps with them and eats their food. I just think he is great.... We put a little bit of hay in the pool and when it was all gone it made for a wonderful nap place. They all had a blast. Today was so warm and they all needed a little bit of sun.
Wasnt today great! oh man it was like springtime! Everyone looks very happy- and just look at how big Kauboi is getting I took advantage of the weather and cleaned out the goat barn in preparation for kidding in a few weeks. OHH man those junior girls had destroyed their stall, amazing how much those girls can pee, I wish they would pee outside! :hair: :laugh:
We cleaned out the bucks stall and played with them outside. Kauboi is all hair I tell ya. They had such a blast outside today and kauboi and MB stand up to Ichiro. Poor Aspen tries but still gets pushed around. I noticed that Ichiro nudges him aside when the others start their head butting. Oh how cute.....
