Both my Nubians are bred for February babies.
My Alpine and Saanen does, however, have not come into heat at all yet! It's odd to me because they were both in their first heat by October last year. They are almost 2 years old and both showed aggressive, loud heats last year with flagging and vocalizations that were hard to miss. Is it possible for individual goats to change from having loud heats to silent heats?

My Saanen is bred!! :)
I used your advice Karen and put each doe in with the buck. The Alpine is certainly not ready, but my Saanen immediately stood for him, flagging and was bred twice. Now I am looking forward to Nubian/Saanen kids. I can't wait to see how Daisy freshens her first time.
Silent heats are tricky! I wouldn't have ever known she was ready if not for my buck!
