i noticed today that one preggy doe is still allowing her almost 7 month old doeling to nurse. she's due end of feb. will she wean her doeling in time to prepare for her new kids?

No, she won't wean her doeling on her own if she hasn't already. The doeling needs to be weaned immediately so your pregnant doe can give the nutrition to her unborn kid(s). She also needs some recovery time for her body to prepare for the upcoming kids. Seperate them right away.

I agree, some does will allow the previous kids to nurse forever! When I had my Tilly, her dam Bootsie was still allowing her to nurse at 3 years old. Your mama is going to need a minimum of 6 weeks to allow her body to make the colostrum her new kids need, separating them now will be best.
