Unless lawn trimmings have been all spread out to dry there's too much of a chance for mold. I wouldn't risk it.
Mine just eat whatever leaves blow into their pen.
I do feed lawn trimmings in the summer. My "lawn" though is undeveloped, just blown in pasture grass seeds. I cut it carefully with a string trimmer and let it dry past the wilt stage turning it at least once before feeding.
