We purchased a Nigerian Dwarf and were told she is pregnant. This will be her third kidding, but her first time with us and our first kidding. We have read articles, watched videos and feel we know what signs to look for. We were told she is most likely due late May/early June, but the buck was in the field for two months. Three weeks ago her udder bagged up, Ligaments disappeared she was silent yawning, and had a swollen vulva. It lasted about an hour, then ligaments were back, udder deflated, no more yawning. It happened again last week. And again last evening. She is still eating, drinking, tail wagging, no distress. Has this happened to anyone? Is it possible she’s not even pregnant? Any tricks to determining how far along she is?

I am confused by "udder deflating"......part. The udder is - filled with milk or not - usually after filling it takes a good while to go down if she is not milked. How is your doe?
