I have tried doing bermuda hay(thats what we have here) and pellets, I tried straight bermuda blend pellets, and free choice alfalfa hay. The goats seemed healthiest on the alfalfa hay but as has been mentioned LOTS they are quite wasteful. so my question is, is a tottaly pellet diet healthy for them, mine dont have acess to much browse so the pellets would be like 98% of thier diet. Or should I just keep feedin the alfalfa hay?

you can feed 90% pellets and provide some hay as well. You will find that if you limit the amount of hay they have they eat more of it even if it falls on the ground. ;)
