Wow! That looks really great! I used to draw Boer heads a while ago, but never as detailed as that. I have been increasing my shading techniques on my horse heads that I draw, but your picture is just brilliant!

Seriously! lol When I shade in my horses, I use light lines all over the horse and then use my finger and make it gray. It makes it look so realistic, unless I press to hard on a particular area, then it looks like a moonspot. Haha

How many times did you erase his ear? It looks great! I can never get the ears just right! :sigh:

I try not to erase at all- I lightly sketch it out first-barely visible-then come back with the shading- i did have to redo his eye once and reshape the horns. I am working on a horse now- i will post it as soon as I finish it. I look at a pic usually and draw from that-this boer is our sire TRAX...Do you have any of your pics on here?

Cool. :) I hardly ever take pictures of my work. I should though. Tomorrow at school ( :angel2: ) I draw a picture and then photgraph it and put it on here. :) Ill try my skills at the boer buck again. Cant wait to see the horse!
