In the last picture, Ginger's expression is very funny. It looks like she saying "Please, lady, you're standing in my sun!" or something.

They are all very adorable--I'm so jealous of your horses!

Thank you. I love Ginger. She was very shy when I got her a couple weeks ago, but this morning she actually put her hooves up on me looking for treats.

The Tovero mare was a rescue that I took in and then she foaled out Chief 2 weeks later. He is a booger. He is sold and will start weening and then he is going to Montana. I really want to put mom in training and make her into a trail competition horse. I think she will do real well with it. I also have an old 25ish quarter horse mare.

Kylee - Chief will be 5 months on the 20th - its time he GOES! LOL! He is taking treats now out of my hands, but momma still pushes him away from us. So once he is seperated he will do so much better. he is a follower, big time.

Thank you all. I love my critters!

Well, the little spotted buckling, his twin - the pure white buckling, and Flopsy have been sold. They are all going to the same house - and not food - so I am pretty happy about that. I knew that if they didn't sell by this weekend, we were keeping flopsy as a "brood doe" and the boys were going to Freezer Camp in spring - so I am happy!

    Piccalo -
    I breed
    Reg Nigis
    Unreg Nigis
    A couple meat goats
    Standard Dairy X
    and Nubians

The standard Dairy's are for my milk and milk to trade. This year I am hoping to bring in a day old calf to raise up on goats milk and then hay for freezer camp (we can get a calf at 1 day for $50.00)

The meat goats are for personal consumption, but I do "sell" the cute ones for pets.

Nigis and the 1 pygmy are to pay the Feed bills! LOL!

    What a pretty lil farm!

I really admire you that you are able to eat your own goats. I hope if it comes down to that I would be able to to. Although I have nigi. I am not sure how much meat is on a nigi.

Your mare looks like she will be a nice trail horse.
