Just thought I would share a picture of my little flock of 7 and my first eggs laid by the easter egger, Queen Katheryn. Her pretty bluish-grey eggs.
Congrats... getting fresh eggs everyday is so wonderful! It's exciting to get brown and white eggs every day but it's even more exciting (at least for me) to get those pretty blue/green eggs.
My girls love the blue and green eggs Especially the green. They always put green food coloring in them so they can continue to enjoy them green while they are eating them....
It always make you feel good ...about having chickens ...when you get those 1st eggs.....The incredible edible egg....nice chickens... by the way.. :wink: :greengrin:
Nice looking girls! There is NO comparrison between farm fresh eggs and store bought! Of course when they come from your own chickens it makes it that much better :greengrin:
