Here are pics of my new buck. I dont even know what color he is to put on his papers. She never sent them in so she gave them to me to send in. But he dont look the same after I shaved him as before. He looked like a calico goat. But here are some pics once I shaved him. But like I said I have no ideal what to put on his papers.

Hard to say wether or not he'd be a broken buckskin with moonspots or not with being clipped...he does look VERY nice though...and I like the clip job

Ok I should have took a pic before I shaved him. But he looked like one of those dark calico cats. Not the light calico but the dark ones. He was like two or three different colors almost of brown. Maybe with some black but different colors of brown. He almost looks kida chocolate shaved off. His body was spotted alot like his face is. Thats so cool that he is moonspotted. I thought that is what he was but wasnt sure cause this is my first one. Thanks

Either black with moonspots or a type of moonspotted buckskin. He is gorgeous either way!

to bad - I cant give you his color pattern till he grows back in. Moonspots are just an over lay on top of the pattern. A goat can have several patterns expressed but usualy just one.

He's really handsome! Hard to say his color w/out the non shaved coat, but I'm going to guess buckskin like the others! I have one that looks very similar shaved (not quite as spotty).

I dont know if he would be considered Buckskin- I dont see any of the facial striping on him? What about Buckskin Repartita, which is a version of the buckskin but without the facial striping. They usually have the cape, and the darker legs and dorsal and are a version of brown/black like a buckskin would be.

Really neat markings! What are his lines?

That's exactly what I was thinking Proctor....he looks buckskin to me just no facial markings, I like to keep my colors pretty simple though. lol  Yeah....What are his bloodlines??

Here are some more front pics of him. The way his face is colored is pretty much the way his body was colored. My son did happen to take a pic of hime when he was partly shaved that I will get my husband to upload of his phone tonite if I can. I dont know much about his bloodlines. Because he is AGS registered and most of my goats are ADGA registered and they are from totally different bloodlines. Thanks

Looks like he has tan trim on the legs - If I was not sure about him being buckskin I would register as black; tan trim; moonspots. The good news is as long as it is pretty close to his color you do not have to worry. At least you do not have to worry about putting it down on the papers as the breeder will do that :) :)

His moonspots will end up white. Moonspots are so weird as they start off a dark color and when the kid gets older and sheds out or is clipped - they are white - I was fasinated at my friends Nubians watching them change colors and when I clipped her kids it was so much fun to see the change.

Looks like a pretty buck - I reconized most all the herd names and those herds have been known to produce nice goats - I am a huge fan of Goodwood genetics - always a good herd name to see.
