So, 1st pic we have Duke, Nubian buck, with solid black ears

2nd pic Duke and King Solomon the future herdsire’s (I need to put their buck aprons on)

3rd pic…Poppy 1st time freshener

4th… My powerhouse milker Legacy, (she gave 3/4 of a gallon a day while nursing triplets, without separation or teat tape She is also a treat hog and thief

5th is Silly Lilly, she’s a kinder doeling, she’s too funny… I think she was trying to get up to the apple branches and using me to try

6th is Lilly and her sister Ginger… They are sweethearts, but I’m considering selling them, or paying to get their small horns removed… I wasn’t in the place where I could get them disbudded early enough, I had a lot going on..

Beautiful goats!

Is Lilly a registered kinder? She looks a bit different than my Kinders to me, but maybe it's just the horns throwing me off.

I could have registered her but I sold her mom, because she tried to kill Lilly and Ginger at birth.. I actually sold all 3 of the Kinders bought in November, none of them were friendly, I tried to work with them, but they just weren’t interested in getting to know me… The other one tried to kill her kid too, so I sold them… Lilly and Ginger are super friendly…, that’s kind of why I’m torn f I should try to get their horns taken off, or sell them… Most likely I’ll get their horns taken off… I have a polled mini nubian boyfriend for them…

Band their horns, we do if we have an adult goat that is past disbudding age, much kinder than a big nasty open wound from the vet.

Actually the vet will use the wire saw, and then they will cap it with the disbudding iron… I guess they are young enough…
Aww what a beautiful herd you have!
