Why is pigmentation important? What is the least amount they have to have to be show correct?

Its part the breed standard from south africa. All the animals there must have dark skin to protect them from sunburn and skin cancer. Most other breeds don't have really dark pigmentation either so its another way to prove that you have a pure bred goat or close to it.
