Here I sit in the barn, like the many that have done so before me.
Was in the middle of setting up a camera to watch pinky when my Aunt said, hey your goat is doing some strange things. I poke my head around the corner and sure enough she's being different. Tail up and heavily rounded. Yup after a couple of those I figure out oh its kid time. She's not pee'ing.
Of course this comes on a day that I had to be up at 3.30 in the am to take a friend to a doc appointment some distance away. Also I have to be up early in the am to go to work tomorrow. Again, like all those who have gone before me, I forsee being somewhat tired tomorrow! Being a novice at having goats, i'm excited, terrified, in wondermen and terrified. Yes I know they CAN have them without supervision. So she's in basically the first stages of labor. How long does this usually last?

How exciting. Hope she has them for you soon so you don't have to be up all night! ;)

We had one about a weeks ago that looked like that and it took her about 12 hours before she kidded.
