Placenta 12 hours later?

So my Nigerian dwarf goat had kids yesterday around three she had triplets two are still born and one alive, she still had the placenta hanging out this morning is there something I should do to get it to pass?

If she had a sluggish delivery..placenta can take time too. If it's dragging..tie it up in a knot. This will also add some pressure and help delivery. Don't pull on it at all. Is baby nursing well..that helps as well.

Also keep a eye on temp. The biggest concern with a retained placenta is infection. Some people with cattle and horses will flush the uterus if still retained after 24 hours. I’ve have only 2 goats that kept it that long and I did distilled water and a uterine bolus. I don’t think it really made the placenta come out faster but they never got infected and were able to conceive the following year.
Try keeping her in a nice clean spot as well.

Definitely doing a uterine flush at least after it's delivered can give her a good clean. I use 50/50 sterile warm water and white vinegar. I add 10 drops quality lavender essential oil and tea tree essential oil each.

I would give her Selenium gel with Vit. That will help her. Usually selenium deficiency causes that. Good job on watching her!

Calcium deficiency can also cause retained placenta. I use Oral CalMPK to address that.
