Has anyone heard of this plant? It's called Sainfoin and apparently it's a plant that doesn't cause bloat in ruminants and also it's a natural anthelmintic. Check out this link: http://legumeplus.eu/farming-sainfoin . I found out about it through my sister who keeps bees and she heard of it because it is also a fantastic crop for honey bees. I could not believe the properties this thing has. I can't understand why it is completely unheard of. If I had better growing conditions for it I would be all over this.

Very interesting, I never heard of it before either. But it sounds really good.

We have limited availability in our state, so I've never tried it before for my goats. A friend of mine said she new of someone who fed it. There was very little waste, and the goats seemed to enjoy it. It's certainly something worth looking into!
