Playing which breeding date took!

I was sure both Shamrock and Bambi took the second time around after being exposed to Cowboy in November. They both were in heat after breeding in late October. Shamrock is looking BIG but has no udder development yet. Today, Bambi has an udder going on. I was able to cup it in my hand, and it's almost more than my hands can feel. I'm thinking the first date took. Today would be 29 days before day 145 if the first breeding on October 27. Does the udder formation point to about a month before to you guys as well for a first time freshener Nigerian Dwarf? What are the odds of her kidding according to my late November breeding and kidding for the end of April? I guess I'll give her a CDT shot today.

Good luck! Either date could be it. I had a doe that came into heat her entire pregnancy- every 20 days like clock work! No and I mean no udder development.
Surprise- a new baby- and she fed it quite well- 3 days later a nice udder. I would treat as if the first date took and go from there....

Here's her baby udder through all that beast hair. She doesn't really look that wide for a preggo goat, but maybe she hides them well. I'm wondering if she's only going to have one. This is the fun part about breeding goats for sure. I am so excited to find out what they've been growing in there!

I would rather treat her like shes in her last 30 days
Give them the hoof trims,( mani pedi)😁, CDT shot, selenium. And Vit A&D, Vit B. Then if it is, your done. If not, you just get to wait...lol

Just gave CDT. She had replamin gel a few days ago. She and Shamrock had hoof trims about a month ago, and kidding stuff I ordered online should be arriving soon to add to my stockpile. I've got a kidding stall almost ready (needs to be cleaned a bit). Waiting to give selen gel, but decided to start giving the very preggo girls tums for calcium cuz Shamrock's girl bits look like they're under some pressure. I might give them some vitamin e human gel caps once a week or so if that's safe. I have it just in case I need it. So yeah, it's just time to wait. It's nice to be ready and not in a panic rush!
