The past couple days Caesar has been having trouble walking, he shivers and grinds his teeth but it otherwise bright. We took him to the vet this morning and he said that Caesar has brain swelling/trauma going on from when we dehorned him and from his accident. When the vet shined a light in his eyes, the pupils wouldn't dialate. His head wound wasn't infected and the vet said it was very clean.
We are going to give Caesar some anti inflammatory this afternoon after we talk to the vet again.
Please pray for Caesar's recovery and well being, he's my baby and I can't lose him

Got off the phone with the vet(homeopathic one), said we don't have to give the anti inflammatory. He thinks that it's possible that Caesar cracked his skull which might be causing swelling of the brain tissue. He told us 3 different remedies to give him for head trauma, tissue and nerve damage and helping his skull heal back together again if it is infact cracked. He said we should know in seven days if he's going to make it or not.
He said to leave his head wound uncovered so that it can dry out and scab over. HIs head looks really good, his sinus hole is filling in.
Thanks everybody for your prayers.

Well this morning he seems more aware of his surrounds, his pupils can dialate now, I think he might have been blind to some extent yesterday. He was drinking this morning, which is good and he was eating hay and grain more agressively. He seems a little more sure on his feet too. He still shivers.
We are still giving him B shots and fastrack, also we are giving him milk of magnesia and olive oil, the vet said that would help get his rumen going again....
Thanks for your prayers everybody!

I've been checking on him throughout the day and giving him the oil and MOM, last time I went out he was eating hay on his own, usually I have to hold it for him. :)
He still pees on himself, but he never stopped that, LOL
Thank you everybody for your continued prayers :)

eating on their own is always a good sign, and showing some interest in his surroundings. good luck. sometimes it just takes time, and all your tlc. i understand goats really need support when they feel punk; i think he must be feeling your love.
try to have a good night's sleep. i'll be watching for more good news tomorrow!! :D

This morning he was grinding his teeth a lot more, but I"m not sure if that's just because he's giving more effort? I don't know. He's still eating but not drinking as much. His eyes don't seem to dialate anymore but they did yesterday.
Continued thanks.......
