As most of you know I brought three new goats home about week ago. Well two of thwm developed a cough (from stress) and got runny noses, now all of the kids have it and one (who is especially bad) I am thinking has pnemonia. I don't have LA200 (don't know exactly what it's called) He has a rattle in his chest and is wheezing. He still has a big appetite and his eyes aren't bad, I am going to get LA200 tomarrow. My question is, is pnemonia contagious? Should I treat everyone?

yes it is, but I would only treat those with symptoms.

vetRx in their nose might help relieve their symptoms.

    is the cough rattling sounding?

You can also build up their systems by giving nutri drench or children's vitamines.

I am doing the vitamins I need to do some nutri drench. I can't really tell if they are rattling.

A temp would be helpful. Any chest rattling/wheezing is serious. If it is pnemonia, you need to get on it quick. Hope all goes well.

I just noticed the rattling tonight. I can't get any La200 till tomorrow. TSC is closed.

well once you get it the dosage is 1cc per 20lbs.

Oh and if they have the biomycin (sp?) that is better since it doesn't sting.
