Does anyone know if winterberry is poisonous to goats? I have looked everywhere and can't tell. I know it is to humans but many other anmals are fine with it.
    Thanks

I would probably say that it is not poisonous... Please check out this website
    http://fiascofarm.com/goats/poisonousplants.htm
It does not list it specifically but does show a familly plant member in the edible
    list.... good luck...

The term "Winterberry" can mean many different types of berries... it is best if you can compare the type you have and get the latin name for it... it is then easier to determine if it is poisonous....thanks for posting...

I don't know its scientific name nor do I find it on any list. It growns wild here in CT as a ground cover and it is in the new fenced in area. I have removed alot but it is hard to get it all. Anyone have a good source for looking up specific plants?
