As anyone heard of the pregnancy test using bleach? Supposedly you take 1 cup of bleach and add 2cc of urine to it. If it fizzles for a prolonged duration then the doe is pregnant. I thought about trying this today.

We'll I tried it on my does and there were ZERO bubbles.

How far along do they have to be? I tested at '2 weeks' an got no response.

Farther than that, I think that one poster said they had to be at least two months bred

I would think they would have to be a minimum of a month.

I did the bleach test on my doe Déjà 3 weeks ago when I knew she wasn't pregnant, and it was soooo negative. She was in with a buck and I saw him breed her about 10 times on November 22. I did the bleach test tonight and it about foamed over the top of the cup!

It would seem that way. As soon as I catch the pee on my other doe I will report . The beginning of January I am sending blood to Biotracking to double check.

I love to hear success with the bleach test... I just want to know we have a 'clue' about these things without a blood test! Besides, I really want one of my does to truly be preggers...( hers was positive!)
