Premier1 goat trace mineral premix

Does anybody use the Premier1 goat trace mineral premix. I've been using sweetlix but I don't think the goats eat enough of it. It is out free choice. A few that I purchased were copper deficient and I gave then COWP and was hoping that the sweetlix being a better mineral than what they were getting would do them well. I think it would if they ate close to the recommended daily amount. But they don't. So I am wanting to try the Premier1 mix. I know when I walk by the goats with my sheep mineral they all go crazy for that. I think it is saltier so that gives me high hopes for them consuming the Premier1 stuff better. Their website has good reviews but I wanted to see of anybody has experience using it. Thanks!

Sweetlix meat maker is a good mineral.
At first they go nuts over it until their bodies get what they need. They will go to it if they need it.
So it just may be they received what they needed.

Are they showing deficiency signs?

Never tried the other you mentioned though.

You'd probably be better off giving Replamin Plus weekly. That is a gel. I can't see them doing anything differently with a loose mineral.

@toth boer goats , I'm not sure if I'm seeing signs of deficiency or not. I have one black-ish doe that still has reddish highlights. Maybe it's from being previously copper deficeinrnfrom her old farm. I've had her for 2 months now. Another from the same farm has a sort of rough hair coat. The main reason I thought of switching minerals even though I know Sweetlix has a great reputation is because every time I pass through with the sheep mineral they all try to eat it like crazy. I once left some out for them and they cleaned it up in no time. So I just thought maybe they don't particularly care for Sweetlix and aren't consuming enough. Maybe they are. I bought 9 goats from 4 farms to start and really only the 3 lamanchas from one farm show signs. Their farm was a very well run small dairy run by 2 scientists. They thought the black doe wasn't a true black So that may explain her coloring. The one with the rougher coat, maybe that is just her. I gave the 3 lamanchas COWP boluses about 2 months ago and the white-ish one did gain more color in her coat. More of a cream. I'm very new to goats so may be paranoid h over analyzing. I would try to post pictures but honestly my new phone's camera doesn't really capture properly the colors

If they have their winter fluff it can change the hair color.

Before they shed out the fluff it is different color too. Then they get proper hair color after shed.

Fishtail is a sign of copper deficiency.

There is always a fine line of toxicity, if you over give it. So be careful supplementing.
