Whats the trick? I bought them but they dont work It is always dripping out the threading :angry: Anyone want 3 pritchard nipples? 1 is brand new
make sure the nipple part.... on the inside is sitting properly from the inside ...sometimes when they are a little off in there and not flat they will leak........ :wink:
make sure you are using a 20 oz soda bottle (water bottles will not work- I learned that!) Also- did you take the plastic ring off the soda bottle? I had the same problem until I figured that out too!
I will need to get some and try it again this year -- it was last year when I had the trouble and I haven't needed it since but I am getting my kidding kit ready today
Any type of coke product it will dripp out the threding. You have to use a Pepsi product and it wont dripp. We learned that by experimenting!!
If you look at the caps them self of the two productas they are diffrent. pepsi has 4 threads i think and coke only has 2 i think.
ok I will get one of each if I can and see which works ---- this could be an expensive experiment. LOL
Any Coca Cola product has "different" threads...this includes Sprite,A&W rootbeer Pepsi works and anything related to Pepsi EXCEPT Aqua Fina water bottles. Mug rootbeer as well I know that you likely wouldn't have access to these Stacey, but others might....the Coors Light plastic picnic bottles work wonderfully.

Mountain Dew and any of the Lipton teas are also bottled by Pepsi..Sierra Mist as well as Dr Pepper :greengrin: Sorry, we have Pepsi fountain soda's at work so I'm trying to think of all the labels on the spouts.
Sometimes if you make the hole too big in the nipple it leaks and sometimes the ball that covers the hole on the yellow plastic part slips out too and it makes it leak as well, we have used pritchard nipples ever since we got into raising goats though, we have tried other nipples but the pritchards worked best for us.
