I admit it I look at goats pooping all the time...if they are pooping and I am out with them- I watch. I know this makes me weird but I don't care. I have noticed that sometimes they have poop that is a dark tan color and looks like it has longitudinal lines all coming to a point on each end of the berry. I have seen this several times from different does in the herd. Does this mean anything?? Or should I just stop looking at goat poop so much? Most of the time they have normal dark brown or black poops with no lines though.

As long as its there for them you can't force them to drink. And if they seem healthy otherwise I wouldn't be concerned. Electrolytes can help in this heat but not all goats like it.

Think about it this way. One day you don't drink as much as you should but they next you drink more to compensate. I'm sure goats do the same
